Detached House – Cheshire

In June 2017 we were contacted by a property developer based in Altrincham, they were in the process of creating a small housing development in Altrincham / Broadheath area. Their development consisted of 5 houses in total, 4 of these houses were semidetached and 1 detached house. The detached house was intended to be showpiece for the housing development in altrincham. The house was a large 4 bedroom family home including a large driveway, built in garage and an extensive rear garden area.

To match the clients specification we created the exterior architectural visualisations in both day and night conditions. Allowing potential buyers to foresee what the property could be like at all times. We also added 3 types of building texture to the exterior of the house, mixing prestigious brickwork, white wall render and timber cladding to help showcase the house’s modern aesthetic.

Population of the 3D CGI scene was a very important factor in this house CGI, different demographics can be targeted, young professionals, people with larger disposable incomes, affluent professionals, etc can all be target through the use of imagery of certain vehicles, fashion styles, family make-up, etc.

Even nearby amenities (schools, shops, etc) and public transport can be showcased somewhere within the population elements to help tell the story of the development.

By adding people and the car we have effectively allowed the CGI imagery to tell a story of the people who live within this house.

In the daytime mum is seen coming home from picking up her youngest child from school. She rode then on her bicycle as their is a school just 5 minutes down the road from this housing development.

In the evening scene you can see the eldest daughter walking towards the car, maybe dad is going to drop her off at the local gym in Altrincham town centre.

These types of subtle things can be added to our CGI imagery to help promote the location of the development without actually showing the exact location of the house.
