A harmonious connection between traditional and modern construction processes.
Edinburgh house is a grade 2-listed property. A Property that oozes character and style however was in dire need for an extension so it would be able to continue with the daily rigours of modern life.
We worked in conjunction with a small architectural firm based in Scotland to create a number of exterior and interior architectural images to show what the owner’s extension may look like for planning purposes.
The owners insisted in the use of metal cladding and large glass doors and windows, this would ensure maximum light would infiltrate the property and bring down the cost of construction as the components were pre-fabricated.
We were able to superimpose the extension on to the image provided by their surveyor to ensure the extension would blend in amicably, blurring the lines between reality and computer generated imagery.
