Abbey Row is a landmark residential development located within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, delivering 365 contemporary apartments across three architecturally distinctive buildings.
North Made Studio produced a complete suite of architectural CGI, including exterior CGI, interior apartment CGI and communal space visualisations. We also delivered two fully immersive VR apartment tours and a cinematic animation, supporting marketing, off-plan sales and investor engagement through high-quality architectural visualisation services.
The Development
Abbey Row is a large-scale, design-led residential development situated in one of Liverpool’s most prominent regeneration zones — the Knowledge Quarter. The scheme delivers 365 studio, one-bed and two-bed apartments across three contemporary buildings, designed to accommodate modern urban living while creating a strong sense of place. Residents benefit from a wide range of shared amenities, including co-working spaces, a private cinema room, a gym and landscaped communal terraces, reinforcing Abbey Row’s lifestyle-focused approach.
The development is strategically positioned close to Liverpool’s major universities, hospitals, cultural institutions and transport links, making it an attractive proposition for residents and investors alike. The architectural language balances clean, modern forms with high-quality materials, ensuring the scheme integrates confidently within the surrounding cityscape.
Inside, the apartments are designed with efficiency, comfort and longevity in mind. Well-proportioned layouts, contemporary finishes and carefully curated communal spaces help create a cohesive residential experience, reflecting Abbey Row’s ambition to deliver high-quality city living within one of Liverpool’s fastest-growing districts.
Our Visualisation Approach
Our architectural visualisation approach for Abbey Row combined architectural CGI, 3D architectural rendering and immersive media to communicate the development’s scale, spatial quality and lifestyle appeal. As an architectural visualisation studio, we worked closely with the client to ensure every visual accurately reflected the architectural intent, interior design vision and buyer expectations.
The exterior CGI focused on showcasing the three buildings within their urban context, using realistic lighting, material detailing and environmental elements to convey scale, presence and connectivity within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter. These architectural CGIs were optimised for digital marketing, investor decks and large-format promotional materials.
For the interiors, we delivered detailed interior CGI and interior design visualisations for both apartments and communal spaces. These images highlighted spatial flow, material textures and furniture layouts, helping prospective buyers visualise everyday living. Particular attention was given to lighting realism and material accuracy to reinforce trust in the visual representation.
To elevate engagement further, we created an immersive VR apartment tour for apartments in Block A and Block C, allowing users to explore a representative apartment at full scale.

This was complemented by a cinematic architectural animation, beginning with an aerial overview of the development before moving through exterior communal spaces, into the reception and shared amenities, and finally into an apartment interior.
This combined approach strengthened Abbey Row’s marketing strategy and provided a compelling, interactive buyer journey across multiple platforms.
