ARK at Markham Vale is a high-spec industrial and logistics development located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, within the established Markham Vale business park.
Appointed by HBD, we delivered a suite of architectural CGI and motion-tracked visualisation to support marketing and leasing. As an architectural visualisation studio, our role was to produce high-quality exterior CGIs and a dynamic motion clip that clearly communicated the scale, design intent and connectivity of this modern industrial development.
The Development
ARK at Markham Vale is a modern industrial and logistics hub comprising a collection of high-specification units designed to serve local, national and global occupiers. The development sits within the established Markham Vale business park — a 200-acre industrial and commercial destination strategically positioned near Junction 29A of the M1 motorway, providing exceptional connectivity to key UK cities including Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby.
The scheme delivers around 90,200 sq ft of flexible industrial and warehouse space across three brand-new units, with generous yard depths, clear internal heights and sustainable design features. Units range in size and are equipped to meet the modern requirements of logistics, manufacturing and distribution occupiers, with fully fitted office accommodation, high power allocation, secure parking and B2/B8 use classification.
ARK’s integration within Markham Vale — itself a vibrant commercial ecosystem with a strong local workforce — positions it as a prime location for businesses looking to establish or expand in the heart of the UK’s motorway network.
Our Visualisation Approach
Our architectural visualisation approach for ARK at Markham Vale focused on delivering clear, commercially driven architectural CGI that accurately represented both the building design and its strategic location. Working from architectural drawings and site data provided by HBD, we produced a series of exterior CGIs and motion-tracked visual clips designed to support industrial and logistics marketing, occupier engagement and investor presentations.
Our architectural CGIs emphasised clean compositions and high-fidelity material rendering, ensuring prospective occupiers and stakeholders could appreciate how the units would sit within the established industrial park, respond to site orientation, and connect to the motorway network. Rendered views were optimised for both web and print, designed to work across marketing brochures, online listings and investor pitch materials.
In addition to still imagery, we created motion-tracked clips — a dynamic visual sequence utilising camera movement and animated environmental context — to bring the development to life in digital presentations, social media and leasing pitches. These motion clips provided viewers with a more immersive sense of scale and interaction, dynamically showcasing vehicular access, building elevations, circulation routes and site orientation against the surrounding landscape.
By combining accurate architectural detail with motion design and contextual clarity, our visualisation package helped to elevate ARK’s presentation, support leasing efforts and enhance overall project storytelling for a broad range of audiences.
