Empress Court is a boutique terrace of nine stylish three-bedroom townhouses located on Stanbank Street in Heaton Norris, Stockport.
Commissioned by the development team, North Made Studio provided the complete interior CGI visualisation package — producing high-quality renders that brought the homes’ layouts, finishes and design language to life. Our visuals helped communicate spatial layout, material quality and interior atmosphere to buyers and agents ahead of on-site construction.
THE DEVELOPMENT
Empress Court comprises a small, intimate terrace of nine three-bedroom townhouses, thoughtfully configured to maximise space and cater for modern family living.
Each home is designed across multiple storeys, delivering practical layouts: the ground floor offers open-plan kitchen and dining spaces leading to private gardens, the middle floor accommodates double bedrooms with family bathrooms, and the top floor houses the principal bedroom with en-suite and additional storage areas.
The design draws inspiration from the industrial heritage of Heaton Norris, echoing the red-brick factory vernacular that once characterised the neighbourhood. As a result, Empress Court blends historic character with modern living standards — combining durable, contemporary finishes, well-considered fenestration, and private outdoor space (garden + driveway) to suit commuters, families and buyers seeking a balance of comfort, style and practicality.
With good transport links via nearby motorway access (A6, M60) and proximity to local amenities, schools and green spaces such as Reddish Vale Country Park, the location is positioned to appeal to buyers who value convenience and community as much as a high-quality home environment.
OUR VISUALISATION APPROACH
Our visualisation approach for Empress Court prioritised realism, spatial clarity and material fidelity — ensuring prospective buyers could understand the layout, flow and finish quality of each townhouse before construction completion. Working from floor plans, specification sheets and the developer’s brief, we produced a full set of interior CGIs with compositions designed to highlight the open-plan living/dining spaces, natural light from statement windows, and the continuity between indoor and garden spaces.
We paid careful attention to materiality and finish throughout the project: our renders faithfully represented the warm-wood textures, neutral colour palettes and modern fixtures described in the development specification. Light was calibrated to reflect natural daylight conditions through key windows and bifold doors — creating a sense of space, airiness and everyday comfort.
Alongside the interior imagery, we also created a series of photorealistic exterior CGI visuals that showcase the architecture, streetscape and private garden areas of the development. These external renders were carefully composed to present the character of the townhouses within their landscaped setting, helping communicate scale, materials and kerb appeal for marketing and off-plan sales.
To further enhance the marketing package, we produced an interactive VR Tour of the house, allowing viewers to explore the layout in an immersive, room-by-room experience and gain a true sense of proportion and flow before construction was complete. Click on the image below to take the tour:
Our interior and exterior renders were composed to serve multiple purposes: hero visuals for marketing brochures, detailed views for floor-plan material, immersive content for the VR tour, and lifestyle-led imagery to create emotional connection. This layered architectural visualisation and CGI approach helped the developer and agents present Empress Court convincingly to a wide audience — from investors to families searching for a long-term home.
