North Made was approached by a retirement living developer to help convey a vision for a new high-end retirement living village situated in Cheshire for a planning consultation meeting. The planners had concerns for the use of space in an already congested part of Cheshire and asked the developer to present their idea in order to get the backing of the locals.
We were asked to illustrate the unique and luxurious factors that makes this village a head above the rest, showcasing the large windows allowing natural sunlight, premium furniture and amenities giving residences maximum comfort and a greater quality of life.
On initial enquiry, the client didn’t have a design intent, only a vision, so they worked with our experienced in-house interior designer, producing mood boards for each space in question.
We worked with the clients vision and budget producing a set of premium visuals, carefully portraying luxury with the support of a neutral calming colour palette. We based our palette on nature, basing our palette on stone, pebbles, earth and nature as a whole. This was something the client wanted to bring inside, and we feel we achieved this.
