PURPOSE
Support planning, marketing, investment outreach and occupier engagement through high-quality architectural visualisation
Wakefield Hub is one of the largest logistics and industrial developments in the Yorkshire region, strategically positioned directly off Junction 30 of the M62.
North Made Studio delivered high-quality architectural CGI to support HBD’s marketing, planning communication and investor presentations. Our exterior CGIs illustrate the scale, accessibility and high-specification nature of the scheme, helping stakeholders understand the development’s design intent and commercial potential with clarity and realism.

THE DEVELOPMENT
Wakefield Hub is a major industrial and logistics development occupying a 200-acre site immediately adjacent to the M62 motorway. Designed to deliver millions of square feet of modern industrial accommodation, the scheme is positioned as one of the most connected logistics locations in Yorkshire — offering exceptional access to the national motorway network and strategic transport routes. The site supports large-scale distribution, manufacturing and storage users, with flexible plot configurations and bespoke unit opportunities.
The development is characterised by high-quality building specifications, extensive yard depths, modern elevations, and ample parking provisions — essential features for contemporary logistics occupiers. With strong demand for industrial space in the region, Wakefield Hub is ideally placed to attract both national and international businesses seeking well-connected premises in the North of England.
Surrounded by established commercial activity, green landscaping and new infrastructure improvements, Wakefield Hub contributes to long-term economic growth in the Wakefield area while delivering a forward-thinking, sustainable industrial environment suited to the next generation of logistics operations.

OUR VISUALISATION APPROACH
Our architectural visualisation approach for Wakefield Hub centred on producing a suite of architectural CGI that clearly communicates the development’s scale, strategic location and high-quality logistics specification. As an experienced architectural visualisation studio, North Made Studio worked closely with the team at HBD to create exterior CGIs that accurately represent building massing, façade treatments, landscaping, infrastructure and key circulation routes.
The CGIs were crafted using advanced 3D architectural rendering techniques to ensure realistic lighting, credible environmental context and photoreal material accuracy. This allowed us to demonstrate how the buildings interact with the surrounding landscape, including their visibility from key highways, site entrances and internal road networks — crucial for prospective occupiers assessing operational suitability.
We focused on sightlines that highlight important attributes such as unit scale, yard depths, loading areas, vehicular access and the overall masterplan composition. By combining precise architectural detail with compelling visual storytelling, the resulting CGI suite becomes a powerful tool for marketing, investor engagement and planning communication.

In late 2025, HBD refined the masterplan for Plot 6 at Wakefield Hub, progressing a two-unit scheme in place of the original single-unit proposal. We subsequently delivered updated architectural CGI in early 2026 to showcase the revised design with clarity and accuracy.

Using high-impact property CGI and strategic composition, our visuals elevate the commercial appeal of Wakefield Hub and help the development compete effectively within the competitive industrial and logistics market.
