THE DEVELOPMENT

The Forge is a major residential development in the heart of Liverpool’s Pumpfields regeneration area, bringing 400 contemporary apartments to a strategically important gateway between the city centre and waterfront. Rooted in the area’s industrial heritage, the development takes its name from a history of production and trade while looking ahead to the next chapter of city living.

Designed around a premium resident experience, The Forge combines contemporary apartments with an extensive collection of shared amenities. Residents benefit from a light-filled reception and lounge, concierge service, co-working spaces, a private cinema, fully equipped gym, bookable private dining and boardroom facilities, and a rooftop running track. The development is positioned within walking distance of Liverpool’s business, cultural and waterfront destinations, with convenient access to the wider city.

The scheme also forms part of the wider transformation of Pumpfields, a major regeneration district connecting Liverpool’s established commercial core with its evolving waterfront. With new homes, public realm and improved pedestrian connections planned across the area, The Forge is positioned as a distinctive new residential destination within one of the city’s most significant growth zones.

OUR VISUALISATION APPROACH

Our approach was centred on creating a consistent visual identity across a broad range of interiors, balancing architectural accuracy with a warm, aspirational sense of everyday life. Working as a 3D rendering company specialising in architectural CGI, we developed each space to feel connected to the wider character of The Forge while retaining its own atmosphere and purpose.

For the apartments, our 3D interior rendering focused on natural light, tactile materials and carefully considered styling. Warm timbers, layered textiles and a restrained palette of earthy greens, rust tones and soft neutrals helped create interiors that feel contemporary but lived-in. Daylight and dusk variations were used to communicate different moods, while accurately represented city views strengthened the relationship between the apartments and their Liverpool setting.

Across the shared amenities, the visual language became more cinematic. The double-height reception was composed to emphasise scale, hospitality and arrival; the gym was shaped around daylight, landscape and wellbeing; and the private cinema adopted a darker, more intimate atmosphere.

These architectural visualisation services extended beyond still imagery into immersive VR tours and animation, allowing prospective buyers and investors to experience the development spatially and understand how its different environments connect.
