Shape Homes is a subsidiary company of City of York Council
Specialising in affordable and shared ownership homes situated in the York region, specifically for York residents.
The project was relatively straightforward house-builder style project consisting of CGI’s, no 360 tours or animation content was initially required for the property marketing campaign. Factored handled the overall marketing campaign, with North Made Studio providing the bulk of the visual collateral via the architectural visualisations.
The development site is located at Lowfield Green, situated in the ‘up and coming area’ of Acomb North Yorkshire.
The development consists of 140 homes and 25 apartments. It also incorporates and a large open green field (Village Green) consisting of a communal park and kids play area, creating a sense of community.
North Made Studio produced a set of visuals to market all house types, apartment blocks and village green space. We worked closely with the York Council development team and their Architects BDP ensuring the visuals met the client’s vision.
We produced a total of 20 externals (a mix of street scenes and house types) and 15 interiors (consisting of various rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms etc).
Lowfield Green is a unique development, the first of it’s kind instructed by City of York Council (Shape Homes) to produce 165 affordable and shared ownership properties. Each home has been constructed with the highest eco-credentials, setting it apart from your typical private development.
Overall the styling was kept quite simple and timeless. Clean cut lines with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. Each property boards large open plan living creating a spacious living environment for people to enjoy.
