Plumlife are part of the Great Places Housing Association Group.
They produce affordable new-build homes across the North West.
This housing development was on Edge Lane, Royton; consisting of 21 homes, the location is dubbed Carding Gardens.
Providing contemporary designed homes with a high specification. The development features a mix of 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom homes. With key features included such asoff-road parking and private gardens.
Our task was to create a section of architectural visualisation to communicate the modern aesthetic of the homes, whilst showcasing key features.
Our team produced two external CGIs and two internal CGIs. For the interior visualisations we focused on presenting how light & spacious the rooms are. A kitchen visualisation shows viewers how much space is available within the kitchen/dining area whilst showing the high spec gloss finish fitted kitchen.
Another key requirement for the kitchen visualisation was to show how much natural light is available to the room. With large glazed exterior doors leading out to the garden, and a large window above the sink area.
Kitchens and bathrooms of Plumlife properties are sold with the fitted units and flooring, because of this it was important that the visualisations communicate this, showing the correct flooring finishes, kitchen style and appliances.
The second interior space that was visualisation was the lounge. The lounge is a key space for housing developments of this size, showing the size of the living area and how it could be configured, really helps to sell the property.
A mostly neutral palette was utilised for the interior design of the living room, with a few strong touches add in to create a realistic environment.
The external visualisations of the homes to depicted via two street scenes. Over the two views, three house-types were showcased. Communicating to viewers the style of the houses on the development, the parking areas and the positioning of the homes with reference to each other on the site.
As with most Plumlife home, they feature red brick throughout with grey tiled roofs and accents of white added via the window frames and soffits.
